We are at the peak of the rainy season in Panama, and unpredictable weather should not stop your plans to free up space. We bring you practical tips to move your belongings even under heavy rain to your mini storage unit.
Use Water-Resistant Items
Tarps and ropes can be used to make a temporary cover when loading the truck. Park as close as possible. Use water-resistant packing materials, large garbage bags, plastic wrap, and tape. Remember that at MEGA Storage, all our branches have covered parking so you can unload without getting wet.
Protect Sensitive Items
Items easily damaged by water, such as papers or electronics, should be packed in tightly sealed garbage bags and then in plastic containers. You can also wrap cardboard boxes with heavy-duty bags and tape. Drive the truck carefully, as slippery roads are dangerous.
Careful When Unloading
Lift wet boxes by the base to prevent them from breaking and items falling. If something got damp, dry it before storing it in your unit and keep dry items separate. This will prevent harmful mold growth.
