Loading and Unloading Strategy
To make the most of our loading zone and organize your self-storage unit like a pro, follow these tips from our experts:
1. Pack in reverse
The items you need to access frequently should be the last ones off the truck so they stay at the very front of your unit.
2. Stack smartly
Place the heaviest boxes at the bottom and stack up to the ceiling to take advantage of the unit’s height without compromising stability.
3. Create a center aisle
Try to leave a small aisle in the center of your unit so you can reach the back without having to pull everything out each time you visit.
4. Allow for airflow
Leave a small gap between the boxes and the walls to allow air circulation, which is vital especially in units without climate control.
